Julia Serano believes this crucially ignores the role played by biology. She forwards what she calls a holistic model of gender and sexuality. Listen to Julia Serano, author of Excluded: Making Feminist and Queer Movements More Inclusive, interviewed on KPFA’s Against the Grain from November 25, 2013.
