Liberty Union Party at Muddy Waters (Thurs. Sept. 18th)

You are invited to the next Liberty Union Party organizing meeting in Burlington. We will be meeting at Muddy Waters, 184 Main Street, at 6pm on Thursday, Sept. 18th.

In attendance will be Ben Bosley of Colchester for State Senate; Matthew Andrews of Plainfield for Congress; and Marina Brown of Charleston for Lt. Governor.

We will discuss the major issues facing Vermont and the world that we want to address this election. We will make plans for upcoming events, including candidate debates, the climate change rally in NYC, and public campaign actions in Burlington.

We are distributing flyers, buttons, bumper stickers, and lawn signs. We are also putting together a newsletter with a calendar. We are inviting members and allies to make submissions.

Even the small efforts of each person will make a huge difference for our campaigns. We are hoping to learn what skills and time you can contribute. The working and oppressed people of Vermont deserve a voice and a choice at the ballot box!

After our meeting, we will go to see comedian Hari Kondabolu perform for the Will Miller Social Justice Lecture Series at ArtsRiot, 400 Pine Street, (tickets are $15 http://artsriot.bigcartel.com/product/hari-kondabolu )
and we will talk to people outside the event before and after.

If you’d like to stay in touch but can’t make it on Thursday, please let us know!
