There’s no doubt that Darren Wilson shot Michael Brown, an unarmed eighteen year old in Furguson Missouri. Being a police officer must not be a license to kill! The racial context of this murder and today’s inaction from the justice system echos deep into this country’s history of lynching with impunity.
The failure of the grand jury to indict Darren Wilson denies the family of Michael Brown their day in court. The people of Ferguson will continue to fear for their lives on a daily basis on their own streets. Worst of all, a murderous cop will walk free!
